Addie S. Torrance

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Addie S. Torrance on June 8th, 2025. She passed peacefully in her sleep.

Addie was born in Plattsburgh, NY on October 10th, 1925, the daughter of the late Edward and Addie (Trudeau) Desautels. Addie married her husband, Clifton J. Torrance Sr. on June 30th, 1947. Addie and Clifton were proud owners and ran a successful dairy farm together.

Addie will be remembered for her love and laughter. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her husband Cliff on their farmland. Addie enjoyed playing and winning at cards on her front porch and having hot fudge sundaes. She loved listening to Gene Autry’s music. She will always be remembered lovingly for her beautiful smile and contagious laughter.

She is survived by her children Linda Maille, Stella Pescia, and Teresa (Kevin) McKee; her siblings Irene Proulx and Paul (Bertha) Desautels; her brothers in law and sister in law Arlen Favero Sr., Norman and Anne Torrance, Emma Torrance; her grandchildren Dawn (Sunil) Maille, Laurie (Brian) LaPointe, Kim (Frank) Coolidge, Nicole (Michelle) Maille, Jason Torrance, Eric Torrance, Joseph (Alicia) DesRocher: her great grandchildren Andrew Maille Sr., Josh (Megan) Stuart, Adam (Jordan) Stuart, Sky LaPointe, Alisha (Zach) LaRock, Kinson LaPointe, Ariana (Stephen) Coolidge, Aiden Coolidge, Haylie DesRocher, Connor Torrance, Kasey Lynn Breyette; and her great-great grandchildren Andrew Maille Jr, Mia Larock, Hudson Stuart, Baby Girl Stuart.

She is predeceased by her Loving husband, Clifton Torrance Sr, son Clifton Torrance Jr, Son in laws Gilles Maille and Jeff Pescia, daughter in law Joan Torrance, brother in law Avery Torrance, Grandson Shawn Maille, and granddaughter Jennifer (Casey) Breyette; her sisters Theresa Desautels and Maybelle Favero, her brothers Stanley (Beulah) Desautels and Alfred (Rose) Desautels, and her brother in law Francis Proulx

Mass of Christian Burial will be on June 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Victory Church. Entombment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
