Alan J Nephew

Alan J. Nephew, 60, of Champlain, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh on October 6, 1960, the son of Arthur and June (Pelkey) Nephew.
He loved his family, granddaughters and faithful canine Zeus.
He is survived by his daughter, Nichole Martin and her companion Jesse Mashtare, his grandchildren, Hailey and Lacey Martin, siblings, Rodney Nephew, Barbara Bourgeois, Claire (Hilbert) LaPier, Reginald (JoAnn), Dean (Donna) Nephew Sr., Marlene (Cindy) Nephew, Sheila (Lindsey) DeCoste, Randall (Sue) Nephew, brother-in-law Leonard “Peck” Sample, son-in-law Danny Martin, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; his nephew Dean Nephew Jr., his sister Jane Sample, his brother-in-law, John Bourgeois,
Calling hours will be 3:00-5:00pm on Thursday, January 21, 2020 at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow. Burial will be at a later date in St. Louis de France Cemetery in Sciota, NY.
