Ann M Collins

Ann Marie Collins, 73, of Chazy, NY, passed away peacefully at CVPH Medical Center surrounded by her family on October 8th, 2026. Born on January 17th, 1953, in Plattsburgh to Calvin and Mildred (Brilyea) Collins.

Ann loved spending time outdoors camping, kayaking and hiking. She loved to spend time with her family, friends and any animal she crossed paths with. Ann grew up in Plattsburgh, attended high school at Plattsburgh High School and stayed locally to help care for her mother after the passing of her father. She worked several jobs throughout her lifetime, but most loved her time at Montgomery Wards, Luck Brothers, and Rideau.

Ann is lovingly remembered by her sister Katherine Dube of Peru, sister-in-law Dorla Collins of Chazy, sister-in-law, Cheryl Collins of West Chazy and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Mildred Collins, her brothers Keith Collins, Steven Collins and David Collins. She is also proceeded by her nephews Keith Collins Jr, and Edmond (Kyle) Dube.

A funeral service will be held for her on Friday, October 23rd at 10, at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. A burial service will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her parents.
