Barbara A Miller

Barbara A. "Babs" Miller, 74, of Plattsburgh, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her daughter at her side. She was born in Auburn NY on April 9, 1948, the daughter of Donald and Fern (Loeper) Brown.

Babs was a Corrections Officer with NYSDOC at Clinton Correctional in Dannemora, retiring after 25 years of service. She was an avid reader and was a world traveler where she would take extended vacations to Mexico. Often during her free-time she could be found volunteering for many groups and organizations.

She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Faye and many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her son, Michael Miller of Port Orange, FL and her daughter Michele Miller and her husband Robbie King of Peru, NY, her grandsons; Connor and Logan Miller, of Daytona Beach, FL, her cousin Cathy Covert and her husband Larry and their daughter Katie, her dear friends, Carolyn Kingston, Gary Wood, and John Hutchings.

There will be no public calling hours or services. Burial will be with her parents and sister in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Port Byron, NY at the convenience of the family.
