Barbara J Facteau

Barbara J. Facteau, 88, of Facteau Road, Saranac, NY passed away on Monday November 5, 2018 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT. She was born in Dannemora, NY on December 9, 1929 the son of Ider and Lillian (Baker) Couture. She married Andrew Facteau on November 26, 1947 at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora. Barbara worked at CVPH Medical Center as a Dietitian where she later retired from. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and going to craft fairs with her husband. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, her husband Andrew, an infant daughter Sheila, three sons; Ronnie, Gary and Billy, a great grandson Noah and a son-in-law Randy Napper. She is survived by four sons; Larry Facteau and his wife Judy of Morrisonville, Timothy Facteau and his wife Diane of Dannemora, John Facteau and his wife Linda of Peru, Anthony Facteau and his wife Sue of Saranac; three daughters; Sandy Davidson and her husband Bob of Saranac, Mary Napper of Saranac, Shirley Boland and her husband Rick of Plattsburgh, a daughter-in-law Sheila Facteau of Plattsburgh, 19 grandchildren, and close to thirty great grandchildren, three sisters-in-law; Alice Cringle, Mildred Rock and Barbara Sorrell, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Thursday November 8, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday November 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Assumption in Redford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
