Barbara Harnden, 62, of Plattsburgh, New York, passed away on October 26, 2026.

Barbara shared 35 years of marriage with her loving spouse, Robert Harnden. She was a devoted mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren, swimming, and making memories with those she loved. Barbara was truly the life of the party, bringing laughter and happiness wherever she went.

She is survived by her spouse, Robert Harnden; her son, Scott St. John, and his spouse, Melinda St. John; her daughter, Brittany St. John; and her stepsons, Nicholas Harnden and Matthew Harnden. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Shawn St. John, Karley St. John, Natalie Farnham, and Noah Harnden.

She is also survived by her mother, Fannie Spoor, and her spouse, Darrel Spoor; her father, Gordon St. John, and his spouse, Barbara St. John; her sister, Paula Rabideau, and her spouse, Kenneth Rabideau; and her brothers, Jeffery St. John and his significant other, Mindy Arthur, Jerry Spoor and his spouse, Rebecca Spoor, Darrel Spoor and his spouse Laura Spoor, and Thomas Spoor and his significant other Jenna. She will also be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Barbara’s love for her family, joyful personality, and unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
