Betty Mae Stein

Betty Mae Stein, 77, of Turner Road, Morrisonville, NY, passed away on Sunday January 10, 2016 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on May 28, 1938 the daughter of Samuel and Emma (Chamberlain) Coon. Betty will be forever known for her love of children and caring for anyone in need, including providing clothing, a warm meal or a helping hand. She was predeceased by her parents, a son Robert Stein, a brother Samuel Coon and sister Theresa Martineau. Betty is survived by her husband Bart Stein of Morrisonville, several nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2016 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, a brief prayer will be read at 6:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Schuyler Falls Cemetery later in the year. Donations in Betty's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Make a Wish Foundation.
