Bonnie L. Skelly

Bonnie Skelly, 75, of 97 Miller St. in Plattsburgh passed away on Saturday, August 9th. She was in her brother's home on hospice care, with her loving family at her side.

She was born the daughter of Leonard Ayotte and Verna Snider Ayotte in Plattsburgh, NY on July 22, 1950. Bonnie loved playing cards, watching Nasar, playing with her grandchildren/great-grandchildren, and just relaxing with her cats Daisy and Lilly. She graduated from PHS high-school in 1968.

She later went on to work 40+ years in the kitchen at PSU doing prep work and other various jobs. Where she made many friends over the years. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Aunts, Uncles, and several cousins. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands. Dawn and Brian Gainer of Peru

and Sheri Skelly and Eddie Pelkey of West Chazy. Her grandchildren: Codey Agoney and Megan, Kenna Maulding and Amanda, Harley Gainer and Garrett.

Her great-grandchildren: Jaylee, Raina, Sophia, Owen, Liam, and Braylynne. And her brother Robert and Maryann Ayotte of Plattsburgh. Bonnie will be loved and missed by many. Calling Hours are Thursday 14, 2025 from 4-6 PM followed by a brief funeral service.
