Carol A Burdo

Plattsburgh Mrs. Carol A. Burdo, 69, of Moffitt Road in Plattsburgh, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born on April 28, 1941 in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Herbert and Kathryn (Dickson) Burnell. Carol graduated from St. John's Academy and was employed as a teller and secretary for Marine Midland Bank in Plattsburgh for many years. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed BINGO and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Thomas D. Burdo, her children; Thomas D. Burdo III and his son Cooper Thomas of Beekmantown, Terry J. and Mindy L. Burdo and their daughter Meegan of Beekmantown, her mother Kathryn Hart of Plattsburgh, her siblings; Sharon and Gary Nephew of West Chazy, Danny Burnell of New Jersey, a foster brother, Alden and Andrea Burleigh of New Jersey, and nieces Janelle and Jami and nephews Bobby, Steven, and Brian. Her father Herbert Burnell passed away earlier. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm from the Brown Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in St. Mary's of the Lake Cemetery on Cumberland Head on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 11:00 am.
