Carole Ann Cao-Ba, 82, of Queensbury, New York passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 19, 2025 at Albany Medical Center with her family by her side.
Carole was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on April 6, 1943. She was the daughter of Irwin and Edith Stevens. Carole graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1960 and from Rutgers University in 1964. Carole was a junior high French teacher at Saranac Central School for 30 years.
Carole married her husband Jeanot Cao-Ba on July 22, 1966. Carole was active in her community and enjoyed a vibrant life centered around her family and friends.
Carole cherished her Jewish heritage. She was a past president of Temple Beth Israel and was active in the Sisterhood. She was also a lifelong member of Hadassah. Carole was active in the League of Women Voters (North Country) for many years.
Carole and her husband enjoyed entertaining and traveling. They loved spending the winter months at their home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Carole’s greatest source of pride and joy was her granddaughter Ilana Nelson and her great granddaughter Talia Ann Nelson.
Carole is survived by her husband Jeanot Cao-Ba, her brother Mark Stevens, her son Yoram Cao-Ba, her daughter Susan (Randy) Patnode, granddaughter Ilana (Scott) Nelson, and great granddaughter Talia Ann Nelson.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted by Brown Funeral Home. A Jewish service and burial will be held on Sunday November 30, 2025 at 11:00am at Temple Beth Israel in Plattsburgh, New York.
