Cecelia "Chic" Renadette (Sears)

Cecelia L. “Chic” Renadette, 89, of Morrisonville, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on December 3, 1932, the daughter of Henry and Florence Jean (Rivers) Sears.
Chic was a faithful parishioner of St. Alexander’s Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters as well as assisted in many aspects of the Church. She was a member of the Busy Bees serving as Secretary Treasurer and the Morrisonville Fire Department Auxiliary. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, traveling or testing her luck at the casino. Her greatest joy was being with her family.
Chic is survived by her children; Vickey Geoffroy (Paul), Dawn Harrsch (Jack), Kathy Harrsch (Dennis), Rosie Burl (Keith), Bill Renadette (Michele), Hope Renadette, and Mike Renadette (Angela), Grandchildren; Michaela Fosmire (Austin), Alix Geoffroy (Andrea), Angela Provost, Lloyd Provost (Sherri), Erin Laundrie (George), Chad Johnson (Sara), KC Heidelmark (Mike), Dennis Harrsch (Kacy), Jason Burl (Cassie), Justin Burl (Alia), Kristopher Renadette (Magen), Krysta Renadette (Albert), Nichole Strohecker (Joel), Taylor St.Germain (Sara), James St.Germain III (Becca), Coty Renadette, Jamie Perry (Jeremy), Dayne Renadette (McKaylee), and Carrie Modele, 24 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, her sister Nina Coryea (Walt), and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Victor, her sons, Wilfred, Howard, Douglas, and Edmund Renadette, her siblings; Frances and Remi Corron, Fred and Helen Sears, Henry and Theresa Sears, Zephyr Sears, Laah and Lloyd Sorrell, Liz and Edmund Dupell, Amy and Robert Catellier, Marie Gordon, Tom Sears, and John Sears.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 12:00pm at St. Alexander’s Church in Morrisonville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Alexander’s Church.
