Christopher Case

Christopher C. Case, 71 of Plattsburgh, NY passed away peacefully in his home on November 23, 2022. He was born on September 20, 1951 in Camillus, NY son of Robert and Gwendolyn.

He graduated from West Genesee High School in 1969 before moving to the upstate New York area. He graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1974 and made Plattsburgh his home where he met and married Karen, his seatmate on the roller coaster of life for 39 years. They raised their three children in Plattsburgh, NY. Chris loved the outdoors, watching the birds, gardening, and most especially daily check-ins with the neighborhood from their home’s front porch. He spent much of his time after retiring from the NYS Parks at Point au Roche managing his many fish tanks and hanging out with his ‘buddy,’ Stuart, the family dog. Chris will be reunited with his dog pals on the other side including Mason, Ruby, Pogo, Annabelle, and Morgan.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, his three children; Jesse and his wife, Kayla, Anna, and Eamon and his wife Bridget, his grandchild; Avery, his siblings; Jeffrey and his wife Ninette, Linda, and Mickey and his wife Wendy, and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. He is predeceased by his parents.

At Chris’s request there will be no formal services. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home from 1pm-3pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Elmore SPCA or the Native American College Fund.
