Plattsburgh Clark J. Liberty, 62, of Military Turnpike in Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on November 14, 1951 the son of Joseph and Phyllis (Graves) Liberty. Clark was a truck driver for many years in the 1970's. He then went on to work as a Corrections Officer for the New York State Dept. of Corrections at Camp Gabriel in 1985. Clark married Susan Breyette on July 15, 1991 in Peru, NY. He enjoyed collecting silver, gardening, camping and fishing. Clark was predeceased by his parents; Joseph and Phyllis Liberty and his mother-in-law Marion Breyette. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Susan Liberty of Plattsburgh, three children; Vanessa Davies and her husband Matthew of Plattsburgh, Andrew Breyette and his wife Tricia of Plattsburgh, Brent Breyette and his wife Diana of Plattsburgh, seven grandchildren; Jeremy, Matthew, Ayden, Candice, Riley, Katrina and Camryn, three sisters; Mona Liberty of Plattsburgh, Kathy Collins and her husband Michael "Mickey" of Peru and Julie Liberty of Corinth, NY, a brother Paul Liberty and his companion Nancy of Malone. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday April 16, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday April 18, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh. Donations in Clark's memory may be made to the Foundation of CVPH Medical Center.
