Debbie Lee Fountain

West Chazy Debbie Lee Fountain, 55, of Route 22, West Chazy, NY, passed away on Monday May 8, 2017 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on September 5, 1961 the daughter of Carlton and Dorothy (Brown) Hendrie. Debbie married Oreal Fountain, III on November 4, 1978 while he was home from the United States Army. They lived in many places while Oreal was serving his country such as, Bamberg, Germany, Stuttgart, Germany, Newport News, Virginia and Fort Drum, New York. After Oreal retired from the Army in 1997, he and Debbie moved to West Chazy. Debbie enjoyed crafts, refinishing furniture, gardening and being outdoors. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, her brother Carlton, III, sister Mary Ann and mother-in-law Margaret A. Fountain. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Oreal Fountain, III of West Chazy, a daughter Daneila Marie Rock of West Chazy, a son Cory Fountain of Rouses Point, four grandchildren; Lilleigh, Azalea, Christopher, Jr. and Cory her siblings; James (Karen) Hendrie, Michael (Linda Wood) Hendrie, Mayellen (Richard) LaFountain, Jonathon Hendrie and Tina Hendrie, her father-in-law; Oreal Fountain, Jr, her in-laws; Michael (Terry) Fountain, Tammy (Barry) Bayles, Danny (Kim) Fountain and Mark (Tracey) Fountain, several nieces, nephews and a special friend Blossom Relation also survive her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh, burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
