Donald E Gonyea

Donald E, Gonyea, 72, of Altona, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH. He was born in Redford on April 11, 1946, the son of the late Otto and Agnes (Sawyer) Gonyea, Sr.
He is survived by his children and their spouses; Elizabeth and Jeffrey Brooks, Chad and Tara Gonyea, Melinda Gonyea, Kimberly Reynolds, Brenda Osher, his siblings; Joyce and Joe Rich, Carol and Bill Fleming, Jane and Henry Venne, Vern and Lydia Gonyea, Otto and Margie Gonyea Jr., several grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His wife Nioka, twin brother Ronald, his longtime companion Mae Lombard, his brothers Gerald and James Gonyea all passed away earlier.
Calling hours will be held privately for the family. A Celebration of his Life will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 11:00 am to 3:00pm at the Lyon Mountain Fire Department. Interment will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery at a later date.
