Donald A Labonte

Donald A. LaBonte, 85, formerly of Cross Road, Plattsburgh, died April 24, 2018 at Meadowbrook Healthcare. He was born in North Adams, MA on July 2, 1932. Don was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Army. He worked for Johnson Auto Glass for 44 years. Don enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the American Legion Post #20. Don was predeceased by his parents, two sisters; Dorothy Blondin and Shirley Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Dorothy (Aubin) LaBonte, his children Gail Livermore, Gordon (Tammy) LaBonte, Donald (Mary) LaBonte, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of his life Saturday, April, 28 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the VFW on the Spellman Road, Beekmantown. There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
