Doris B "Pud" Breyette

Doris "Pud" B. Breyette, 97, of the Vilas Home, Plattsburgh and formerly of Dannemora, NY, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Ellenburg Depot, NY on October 30, 1919, the daughter of Lawrence and Patricia (Patnode) Broderick. Doris married Clarence "Ting" Breyette on July 24, 1940 at St. John's Church in Plattsburgh. Together they owned and operated Ting's Restaurant and Motel in Dannemora until retiring. Pud was a member St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora and Catholic Daughter for over 50 years. Doris was predeceased by her parents, her husband Clarence "Ting" Breyette, a son Ed Breyette, a grandson Casey Breyette and her siblings; Dorothy, Maurice, Marie, Rachel and Lillian. She is survived by two sons; Fred Breyette of Dannemora and Bob Breyette and his wife Maureen of Dannemora, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. At Pud's request there will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora, entombment will follow at Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens on the Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh.
