Elizabeth A Cole

Plattsburgh Mrs. Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cole, 81, of Elizabeth St., Plattsburgh, New York passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on July 6, 1934 the daughter of William and Eva (Lucia) Cloutier. Betty retired from BOCES as a teaching assistant. She enjoyed bowling and traveling to bowling tournaments, traveling with her husband and going to the casinos. Betty was a member of American Legion Post #20 Ladies Auxiliary and St. Peter's Church. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Edwin E. Cole Sr., her sisters; Veronica Hill, Edna Demary, Louella Miller, Ola LaMay, Olive Cosgrove, Caroline Ralls, her brothers; Harold Clukey and Leo Clukey. Betty is survived by two sons; Edwin Cole, Jr. and his companion Pialar Santos of Plattsburgh, Scott Cole and his wife Pam of Plattsburgh, two daughters; Tammy Sherman and her husband Jake of Plattsburgh, Nina Bell of Plattsburgh, eight grandchildren; Stephen Cole and his wife Kelly, Ryan Cole, Katie Cole and Alex Cole and his wife Elizabeth A., Lauren Sherman, Kristian Sherman, Hunter Bell and Gretchen Bell, great-grandchildren, James, Cameron and Anthony Cole and several nieces and nephews. At Betty's request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday April 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church.
