Elizabeth A Favreau

Mrs. Elizabeth A. Favreau, 76, of Cemetery Road, Point au Roche, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH in Plattsburgh with family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on September 24, 1939 the daughter of Daniel and Virginia (Phaneuf) Noonan. Elizabeth "Betty" graduated from St. John's Academy in 1957. She married Orville Favreau December 21, 1979. Betty worked as the Town Clerk for the Town of Beekmantown for several years and as a Real Estate Agent until retiring. After retirement Betty found her passion creating her art through painting and crafts which she would display at many crafts fairs and farmers markets. She was a member of the Beekmantown Lions Club, The Beekmantown Fire Dept. Axillary, St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy, The Busy Bee's Senior Group, VFW Post 1466 Axillary and a Board member of Gonyo Senior Housing in Beekmantown. Betty is survived by her children; Robert Boire and his companion Tina Bouyea of Plattsburgh, Ronald Boire and his wife Faith Ferguson of Warwick, NY, Dames Boire and his companion Kimberly Vassar of Hopewell Junction, NY, Alex Boire and his wife Lisa of Plattsburgh, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her sisters Mary Fredette, Kay Noonan, Patricia Jukovsky and Genevieve Noonan, several nieces and nephews also survive her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Orville Favreau in 1995, her siblings; John Noonan, Theresa Robertson. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 and 9:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 13, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy. Interment will be at Point au Roche Cemetery at a later date.
