Ernest J "Ernie" Cole

Ernest J. Cole, 87, of Plattsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Weedsport, New York on May 30, 1932, the son of Walter and Mertie (Walker) Cole.
Ernie enjoyed playing cards, painting, drawing and general relaxation. He preferred to avoid "the hubbub" of too many interactions. He was often found watching sports on television, listening to music, watching the news or reading the newspaper. Ernie also enjoys drinking O'Doul's occasionally.
He was predeceased by his parents, and his brothers Robert, Arthur and Bud. He is survived by his sister, Doris Mauro and his extended ARC family.
Due to the current pandemic, services will be private. Burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery in Conquest, NY at a later date.
