Francis J Jolicoeur

Beekmantown Francis J. Jolicoeur, 72, of Spellman Road, Beekmantown, passed away on Friday March 25, 2016 at his home with his family by his side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Sturbridge, MA on March 20, 1944 the son of Lionel and Rita (Ostiguy) Jolicoeur. Francis married his high school sweet heart Marie LaTulippe on May 23, 1964 at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. Francis moved from Plattsburgh to Batavia, NY in 1964 where he worked as an apprentice for Graham Manufacturing, where he learned to be a Machinist Mill Wright. In 1972, he and Marie moved back to Plattsburgh so he could work at Imperial Wallcovering. When Imperial closed in 1998, Francis began working at R & S Machine Shop, until his retirement in 2007. He was predeceased by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law George and Olive LaTulippe and a brother-in-law Charles LaTulippe. Francis is survived by his wife of 51 years Marie Jolicoeur, their three sons; John Jolicoeur and his wife Lynette of KY, James Jolicoeur and his wife Melanie of Forestville, NY and Jeffery Jolicoeur and his wife Jennifer of Plattsburgh, seven grandchildren; Alyssa, Anya, Nicole, Jamie, Carissa Clarke, Grace and Thomas, a great grandson, Gregory Clarke, his siblings; Normand (Brenda) Jolicoeur of Champlain, Gerard (Nancy) Jolicoeur of Florida, Roger (Carol) Jolicoeur of TX, Leo (Marion) Jolicoeur, David (Holly) Jolicoeur Plattsburgh, Juliette Jolicoeur of Plattsburgh, Madeleine Jones of NH, and Mary (Bruce) Darrach of PA, a brother-in-law Phillip (Teri) LaTulippe of CO, several nieces and nephews also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Saturday April 16, 2016 from Noon to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, burial be at St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date.
