Morrisonville Genevieve S. Everleth, 92, of Mason Street, Morrisonville, NY, passed away on Thursday September 15, 2016 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her family by her side. She was born in Morrisonville, NY on June 2, 1924 the daughter of Henry and Mable (Trombley) Luck. Gen graduated from Morrisonville High School in 1942 with a regents diploma and then the Loretta Business School. She married the love of her life Roger Everleth at St. Alexander's Church on July 26, 1948, they were inseparable for 68 years. Gen worked at Diamond Match as a Typist until the birth of her children when she became a stay at home mom. She established the Library at St. Alexander's School and volunteered as the Librarian. Gen was a den mother for Cub Scouts for many years and always opened her home to anyone that stopped by, no one left hungry. She bowled for many years and enjoyed word searches, jumble puzzles, and watching the New York Yankees. Gen also loved to watch her children and grandchildren play sports. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Alexander's Church volunteered there for many years. Gen was predeceased by her parents, her siblings Albert (Agnes) Luck, Eunice (Andrew) Luchansky, June (Leonard) Murray and James (Marilyn) Luck. She is survived by her husband Roger Russell Everleth, two sons; Timothy (Jamie) Everleth of Morrisonville, Mark (Jill Renadette) Everleth of Cadyville, two daughters; Deborah (Thomas) Gale of Plattsburgh and Mary (William) King of Saranac, six grandchildren; Thomas (Elizabeth Terry) Gale, II, Marcie (James) Reardon, Krystle (Matthew) Drollette, Alyssa (Jerrod Wilson) King, Dylan Everleth and Brennan Everleth, three great grandchildren; Hartlyn and Addie Reardon and Jackson Drollette, her sister-in-law Agnes Everleth and brother-in-law Leon (Judy) Everleth, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday September 19, 2016 11:30 am at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville; burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in Genevieve's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Research. Gen's family wishes to thank her caregivers over the years.
