George W Tallman Sr

George W. Tallman Sr. 74, of West Chazy, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Town of Plattsburgh on October 8. 1948, the son of Norman and Delphine (Timmons) Tallman.

George was a hard working man. He said if he wasn’t working, he was dying. He spent over 20 years in the Airforce. George spent time working at Leonardo’s when he came back to Plattsburgh. He then spent many years managing Bazzanos. He enjoyed bowling at North Bowl Lanes with his family and friends.
He was very proud of what he’s accomplished.

He is survived by his Girlfriend, Mary LaFountain, Wife, Patricia Tallman, his children, George W. Tallman Jr and companion Dorothy Johnson, Tina Cook, Maria Yando, Louis Mary, sisters Theresa Moore and Shirley Tallman Bernard, Brother Norman (Dale) Tallman grandchildren Alexis Fountain, Mackenzie Taylor, Tiffany Taylor, Timothy Taylor, great grandchild Bellinger Burdick and his favorite dog Bear.

He was predeceased by his mother and father.

Visitation will be on February 28th 2023, from 2:00- 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Champlain with Military Honors.
