Gerald “Jerry” Kozma, 69, of Plattsburgh passed away on February 6, 2022 at his home in Plattsburgh.
Jerry was born in Oneonta, NY on May 24th, 1952, and was adopted by Joseph and Ethel Kozma, whom have pre-deceased him.
Jerry loved the outdoors and was happiest behind a camera photographing the world as he saw it. He saw beauty where others may not. He loved the beach enriched by the winter driftwood. He enjoyed bicycling with friends for many years throughout the Adirondacks.
He will be missed by friends and family alike, particularly Cheryl Hamlin, a co- worker from Clinton County Social Services, Ray Dubuque, Carol Smith, Debbie Smith-McMahon, Nancy Hunter, and his sister, JoAnne Arsenault. He is survived by cousins from the Kozma family.
In keeping with his philosophy about life and death there will be no memorial service. If you wish to celebrate Jerry’s life, please donate to a cause closest to his heart, Elmore SPCA or North Country SPCA.
He was a gentle soul who sought not to be noticed, but leaves a big imprint on our lives.
There will be no public calling hours or services. Arrangements entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. Online condolences may be offered at www.brownfuneralhomeinc.com
