Gertrude D Hebert

Plattsburgh Gertrude D. Hebert, 96, formerly of Court St., Plattsburgh passed away on Monday August 31, 2009 at the Clinton County Nursing Home. She was born in Rouses Point, New York on August 26, 1913 the daughter of Victor and Rose (Gregoire) Hebert. Gertrude attended St. Patrick's School in Rouses Point and graduated from Rouses Point High School. Soon after she attended Adirondack Business College in Malone, NY. Gertrude was employed by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Albany, NY retiring in 1974 after 32 years. She was a member of Blessed John XXIII Community Newman Center. She was predeceased by her parents Victor and Rose Hebert; her brothers, Bernard and Norman Hebert, her sisters; Florence Bechard, Cecile Hebert, Estelle Hebert, Claire Hebert and Evelyn Hebert, and a nephew Ronald Bechard. Gertrude is survived by four nieces; Sharon Mohr of NC, Linda Vega of Mechanicville, NY, Sheryl Duval of OR, Karyl Ingersoll of OR, a nephew, Claude Bechard and his wife Beverly of Rouses Point, NY and a sister in law Gladys Vaillencourt of Hemmingford, PQ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Blessed John XXIII Community Newman Center in Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rouses Point. Donations in Gertrude's memory may be made to Blessed John XXIII Community Newman Center in Plattsburgh.
