Glenn “Pejoe” E. Scroggins, 69, of Stony Acres, West Chazy, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Plattsburgh on December 11, 1956, the son of Earl and Barbara (Breyette) Scroggins.
Glenn was a man defined by his strength, skill, and heart. A masterful contractor and carpenter, he took great pride in his work, building not only with his hands but with care, precision, and dedication. He was an avid outdoorsman who found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life—hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, playing cards, traveling, and dancing. Whether in the woods, around a table, or surrounded by loved ones, Glenn brought laughter, stories, and a steady presence that made others feel at home.
In his later years, Glenn found a special kind of happiness with his partner, Debbie Napper, whose love and companionship brought him immense joy, comfort, and laughter. Together, they shared a bond that enriched his life in countless ways.
Above all, Glenn was a devoted partner, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a quiet way of showing love—through time spent, lessons shared, and the unwavering support he gave to those closest to him. He will be remembered as a good man in every sense of the word—strong, loyal, hardworking, and deeply caring.
He is survived by his partner, Debbie Napper; his daughter, Charlena Lechuga and her husband, Sinai; his cherished grandchildren, Noah, Rocco, Alondra, and Santiago Lechuga; his dear friend Kevin Jessey, whom he loved like a son; his mother, Barbara Jones; his nephews, Dylan Latour and Alexander Owens; his niece, Kristin Burnell; as well as many beloved cousins and friends who he treasured deeply.
He was predeceased by his father, Earl Scroggins; his stepfather, Archibald Jones; his brother, Martin Scroggins; his sister, Susan Scroggins; and his nephew, Martin Scroggins.
