Harold J. Dupra

Harold J. Dupra, age 92, of Elderwood Nursing Home in Lake Placid, NY passed away on September 17, 2026. Harold was born in Peru, NY, the youngest child of Marie Jarvis Dupra and Albert Dupra.

Harold was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anna, his parents, his sister Marjorie Holdridge, and his brothers Robert Dupra and Francis Dupra. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He worked with his parents and brother Robert on their farm in Peru, NY for most of his life. Later he went to work for A. Schonbek and Co., retiring in 1996.

Harold and Anna loved doing things together, from snowmobiling, traveling on their motorcycle, spending summers and their campsite in North Branch campground, and especially bowling on the Becky’s Diner team for more than twelve years.

Harold was known to always give a helping hand at the campground, and loved to visit with his family and friends. He never refused a request to help others.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh, on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
