Hattie J. Longtin, 84 passed away peacefully April 25, 2020 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh, NY.
Hattie was born on October 19,1935, in Wilmington, NC.
Beginning her career at CVPH led her to many years with Urology Associates, where she became office manager and retired after 32 years. She had great affection for the people she worked with and considered them to be lifelong friends.
Hattie was a loving and devoted Mother and Nana/Nannan. She always put her children's needs above her own and fully loved and supported them all. Hattie cherished her grandchildren, sharing endless time, hugs, kisses, and laughter. Her Sunday family dinners were treasured time for all.
Hattie enjoyed travelling to visit her relatives in North Carolina and having them visit "up North". She also enjoyed her many outings with her friends.
Hattie is predeceased by her Mother Emma Parnell, and her Parents in law Louis and Irene Longtin.
Hattie is survived by her children, Susan Lagree and Philip Lee of Cape Cod, MA, Mary and Stephen Goddeau of Morrisonville, NY, Jeff and Cindy Longtin of Morrisonville NY, her grandchildren, Matthew Burnell of Malta, NY, Ashley Burnell of Kansas City, KS, Sarah Bechard of Burlington VT, and Jack Longtin of Plattsburgh NY.
She is also survived by her beloved sister in law, Ursula Renadette of Plattsburgh NY, sister in law Sister Mary Longtin of Garrison NY. , Nieces Debra (Tom) Brown, Michelle (Tommy) Perkett, and nephews Michael and Richard Renadette, her special cousins Garland and Lois Mccullen, and her treasured friends Claire Langlais and Shirley Haskins.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Aug. 25, 2020, at 11 a.m. at St. Alexander's Church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
