In Loving Memory of Heather "Headdie" Spooner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Heather "Headdie" Spooner, who passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Heather was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was caring for and spoiling the children she loved. Whether it was buying little surprises, spending time together, or simply making them smile, her love for her family was evident in everything she did.

She enjoyed shopping and treasured the simple pleasures of life, especially taking laps around the trailer park in her wheelchair with her faithful dog on her lap. Those who knew Heather will remember her kind heart, generous spirit, her sense of humor, and the unconditional love she gave so freely to her family and friends.

Heather was preceded in death by her father, Harlan Spooner; her mother, Juanita Spooner; and her sister, Barbara Jo Yates.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted spouse, Noel Larabee; her daughter, Chelsea (Derrick) Riley; her sons, Jacob (Brittany Bushey) Spooner and Isaac Spooner-Larabee; and her cherished grandchildren, Lyndsey Riley, Bentley Spooner, and Barrett Riley.

She is also survived by her sisters, Sherry Criss, Kim Walantus, and Melissa Brown; her brother, Mark (Anna) Spooner; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Heather's love, kindness, and generous heart touched everyone who knew her. Although she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4-7pm at the Brown Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 31, 2026, at 10am at St. Peters Church.
