Helen C Mccort

Plattsburgh Mrs. Helen C. McCort, 83, of Lake Views Towers, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away, Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on February 9, 1926 the daughter of Frank and Lena (Coon) Desaw. Helen attended St. Peter's Church. She enjoyed reading and singing. Helen was predeceased by her parents Frank and Lena Desaw, her husband Francis McCort, a son John McCort, two brothers; Frank and George Desaw, a sister Marion Rougier and two sons-in-law Kevin Conners and Billy Facteau. She is survived by two sons; Francis McCort of West Chazy, Brian McCort and his wife Barbara of Plattsburgh, four daughters; Michele Conners of Morrisonville, Melissa Facteau of Plattsburgh, Deanna Peete and her husband David of West Point, Virginia, Nanette Hite and her husband Ben of Peru, a sister Lillian Silse of Plattsburgh, 9 grandchildren; Kenna Recore, Marlee Conners, Shane, Jared and Danyell Facteau, Eric Jasuta and Leonna Finn, Kayla Hite and Kara McCort, 10 great grand children and several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 2, 2009 at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A funeral service will be held on Thursday December 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
