Irene A Jabaut

Morrisonville Irene A. Jabaut, 65, of Flat Rock Road, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on May 11, 1943, daughter of the late Arthur and Queenie (LaMoy) Howard. Irene was employed for over thirty years as an Orthopedic Surgery Assistant. She was active in the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #1619 in West Plattsburgh. Irene enjoyed her daily hikes with her dog J.C. and snowshoeing. Irene is survived by her companion of over twenty years, Thomas Cummings, Sr. of Morrisonville, a son, Joseph Jabaut of Cadyville, three grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon and Cori, a brother David H. Gadway of Plattsburgh and a sister, Martha V. Douglas of Madison, Maine. Irene was pre-deceased by her husband, Larry Jabaut and three daughters, Kim, Suzanne and Amy. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY. Donations in memory of Irene A.
