Jack J Jerry

Plattsburgh Mr. Jack J. Jerry, 78, formerly of Valcour and Zephyrhills, Florida passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington, Vermont. He was born in West Chazy, NY on May 12, 1935 the son of Laurence A. and Dorothy M. (Patro) Jerry. Jack was an avid baseball fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers, whom he tried out for. Jack co-owned and operated Bernie's Lounge on South Catherine St. He was predeceased by his parents Laurence and Dorothy Jerry, his brothers; Albert, Leland and James Jerry and a stepson-in-law Edgar Golden. Jack is survived by his wife Bernice V. Jerry of Plattsburgh, his step daughter; Yvonne Lawrence and her husband David of Plattsburgh, Beverly Messer and her husband Arnold of New Windsor, NY, Angela Golden of Beekmantown, several step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive him. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be Monday May 5, 2014 at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Chazy following Mass which will be held at 9:00 a.m. May 5, 2014.
