Jacqueline M. Luck, 86, of Broad St. in Plattsburgh, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on April 16, 1936, the daughter of the late Clifford and Esther (LaBarge) Fleming.
Jacqueline was employed as an Elementary School Teacher for the Plattsburgh City School District at Monty Street School for 38 years. She was a parishioner of St. John's Church and served on the Bereavement Committee and enjoyed the monthly Retired Teachers Luncheons.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Sherman W. Luck, her children and their spouses; Debbie Luck Brault and her husband David of Essex, VT and Laurie Luck and her husband Brian Curtin of Billerica, MA, her grandchildren; Nichole Kivlehan and her husband Kieran, Cherie Brault, Alexandra Luck Curtin and Anna Luck Curtin, her great grandchildren; Kalyn and Alayna Kivlehan, her sisters-in-law, Ellen Fleming, Candis Luck and a brother-in-law, Gerald Luck and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Thomas Fleming.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday December 29, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 30, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. John's Church. Interment will be in Mount Carmel cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Seton Catholic.
