Janice L Annis

Janice L. Annis, 91, of Plattsburgh, passed away June 4, 2022 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Saranac Lake, NY on July 23, 1930.

Janice loved the Sunday road trips she would take with her husband Jerry often going to the Saranac Lake area where she was from, many times having dinner at the Dew Drop Inn restaurant.

Jan enjoyed playing bingo at the local schools, sometime playing several nights a week. She was a loving grandmother to her twin grandchildren Rachel & Ryan always buying them new outfits or things to play with. Jan enjoyed her flower garden and there was always a dog in the home being lavished with love.

As a teen she worked at Santa's Workshop in Wilmington, NY the year it opened. Janice also worked at the hospital in Saranac Lake after high school.

She was predeceased by her mother, Edna Yard; her father, Harlan Sperry, Sr.; her brother, Harlan Sperry, Jr.; her sister, Judith Annis; her husband, Gerald Annis, Sr.; and her son, Gerald Annis, Jr.

She is survived by her children; Deborah Annis and Robert Annis & wife Louise; and her grandchildren; Rachel Stortz and Ryan Annis.

There will be no public calling hours or services.
