Joan C. Parker

Joan C. Parker, 91, of Plattsburgh, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh. She was born in Saranac Lake on November 4, 1934 , the daughter of William and Laura Siebel

Joan's 1st job was at Plattsburgh Dairy while she was in high school. She then stayed home with her children. She worked at Montgomery Ward's where she retired. Her final job while in her 80's was at H & R Block doing taxes . She volunteered for the Christmas Bureau & at the hospital as well. She was an avid reader and loved playing mahjong.

Survived by Daughter Jori/Peter Frederick, daughter Darci/Brad Knapp, grandsons Parker Darrah & Graham Knapp/Sweet Calderon & 4 Grandchildren Nastassia, Odessa, Kataleya Bouttirath, Azalena Bouttirath, sister Alice Heckard & husband Richard, Brother Larry Siebel & wife Kathy. 2 God daughters, Pam Perry & Traci Meyer, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by: Her parents, her husband Eugene Parker, her daughter, Calli Parker, son Kyle Parker. Her brother Phil Siebel, her sister  Janet LaBombard & her husband James LaBombard. 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Friday April 24, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
