Johan M Corral

Johan M. Corral, 75, of Plattsburgh passed away on Saturday September 23, 2017 at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on October 28, 1941 the daughter of William and Irene (McCory) Miller. Johan grew up in Dannemora; she graduated from Dannemora High School in 1959. She married Joseph Corral on July 7, 1982 at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora. Johan worked for the New York State Department of Corrections for 38 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the St. Joseph's Choir. Johan enjoyed gardening, traveling around New England and trips to the casino. Johan was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband Joseph, Sr. of Plattsburgh, two step children; Joseph Corral, Jr. and his wife Becky of Chateauguay Lake, Carol Lyn Polhemus of Plattsburgh, two grandchildren, a brother Arnie Miller and his wife Bonnie of Morrisonville and their daughters Nicole and Holly. Visitation will be on Wednesday September 27, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at 2:00 pm at Whispering Maples Mausoleum.
