In Loving Memory of Joseph “Lee” Miller

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Joseph “Lee” Miller, aged 66, departed this life on October 28, 2025, at CVPH in Plattsburgh, NY. Surrounded by family, he left behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and unwavering love.

Born on December 29, 1958, in Plattsburgh, Lee, also known as Joe, grew up with a passion for WWE wrestling, Nascar, and NFL football. He enjoyed building models and later in life, Lego cars. Lee served in the U. S. Army from 1978 until 1983 and then the Army Reserves from 1983 until 1993. While in the Reserves ,he actively protected his country in Desert Storm. After the military, Lee touched the lives of many through his work at the Econo Lodge, Integrity RV, Champlain Center Mall, Holiday Inn, and Northeast Group until he became disabled in 2001.

Lee is survived by his loving spouse of 44 years, Lynn DuBrey, Miller, his sisters, Debra Howard of Morrisonville and Janet Miller of Plattsburgh, brother-in-law, William DuBrey and companion, Alicia Dickerson, sisters-in-law, Darlene Martell and her husband, Don, Noreen Miller and her companion Don McQueen, Cindy Mills and her husband Mike, Vicki Decker and her husband, Steve, as well as the many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor, and devotion to family.

Lee is predeceased by his father and mother, Leo and Anna Miller, in-laws, William and Evelyn DuBrey, and brother-in-law, Gerald DuBrey.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh beginning at 1pm -3pm. A Prayer service will follow. All who knew Lee are welcome to join in honoring and celebrating his remarkable life immediately after the service at the Saranac Fire Department.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Joe’s memory be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the American Cancer Society.
