Joyce M Strack

Joyce M. Strack, 91, of Plattsburgh, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Meadowbrook Healthcare with family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on November 12, 1931, the daughter of the late Ralph and Julia (Bishop) Hart.
Joyce attended D'Youville Academy and was later employed by Clare and Carl's, Universal News, and later employed by Champlain Valley Federal Savings and Loan as a Teller. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and attending church dinners.
She is survived by two daughters and their spouses; Lori and John Clark of Nevada, Judy and Keith Defayette of Plattsburgh, grandchildren; Kari (Bill) Prevo, Evan (Natalie) Clark, Ryan (Nancy) Becksvoort, Jonna Clark, Kristen (Sean) Lukas, Nikki (Greg) Brooker along with great grandchildren; Emily, Tanner, Sadie, Finn, Alexandra, Jensen, and Cooper. She is also survived by her siblings; Ralph (Judy) Hart, Elaine (Glenn) Miller, several nieces and nephews along with Ray's children Barton (Rhonda) Strack and Lisa (Ron) Harmon and their families.
She was predeceased by her husbands Maynard Mischler, Medor "Jay" Rabideau and Raymond Strack. A daughter and son in law Karen and Heinz Becksvoort, and brother and sister in law; George and Shirley Hart .
The family would like to thank the staff on Birch Lane at Meadowbrook Healthcare for the care and compassion they showed her.
