Julie A. Frennier, 63, of Plattsburgh, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the Plattsburgh Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was born on July 20, 1962, the daughter of Leon Dupee and Marie (Glaude) Dupee.
Julie was a deeply devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life centered around the people she loved most. Her greatest joy was her family—especially her cherished grandchildren, who brought endless light into her life.
She found happiness in both the simple and meaningful moments: soaking up the sunshine in her flower garden, creating with care in her craft room, and sharing laughter with her loved ones. Julie had a special talent for making others feel cared for—whether she was sewing quilts for her grandsons, making dresses for her nieces, baking sweet treats, or spending hours preparing handmade Halloween costumes for her children each year.
A constant and loving presence, Julie never missed a single one of her children’s sporting events. She was their biggest supporter, always cheering them on. She carried with her the skills and values passed down from her father, which she used to care for her home and family with pride and strength.
Julie also enjoyed attending craft shows with her mother and spending as much time outdoors with her grandchildren as possible. She will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, resilience, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Adam and Nicole Frennier, Cale and Savanah Frennier; her beloved grandchildren, Owhan, Carter, Keelan, and Brody; and her siblings, Tami and Dave Richer, and Neil Dupee and Dianne Laurin.
She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Ronald Frennier; her parents; Leon and Marie Dupee and her brother, Lee Dupee. Her in laws, Arthur and Winifred Frennier. Sister-in-laws, Kathy Lozier and Betty Muller and brother-in-law, Arthur Frennier.
Visitation will be held on Thursday April 9, 2026, from 4-6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 10, 2026, at 1:30pm at St. Peter’s Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home. Online condolences may be offered at www.brownfuneralhomeny.com (http://www.brownfuneralhomeny.com/).
Julie’s love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, especially in the family she cherished above all else.
