Julie A Tarasavage

Julie A. Tarasavage, 62, of Carmel Drive, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Saturday December 18, 2021 at Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. She was born in Plattsburgh on January 5, 1959 the daughter of Christopher and Jeanne (Senecal) Boslet.
Julie graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1977. She married Michael Tarasavage on June 16, 1978. Julie worked at various places in Plattsburgh, making numerous friends, including Merkel’s Department Store, Service Merchandise, Bombardier and Charter Communications
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cheering at their events, including dance and sports. Julie was an avid fan of the Plattsburgh Hornets and the Castleton Spartans, where she could be found cheering the loudest for her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her mother, her father-in-law Michael Tarasavage and brother-in-law Fenton Thompson.
Julie is survived by her husband Michael Tarasavage, a daughter Nicole DeTulleo and her husband Richard of Plattsburgh, her grandchildren; Hayley DeTulleo and her fiancé Brock, Ian DeTulleo and Izzy DeTulleo, her father Christopher Boslet, her siblings; Edward Boslet and his wife Sandra, Jill Thompson, Mary Jo Sweet and her husband Thomas, Christopher Boslet and Joe, Duane Boslet and his wife Sharon, her mother-in-law Ann Tarasavage, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Jane Stebens, Carla Pavone, Toni Ann Toumey and her husband Sam and Joe Tarasavage and his wife Kathy, several nieces and nephews also survive her.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday December 22, 2021 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be later next year at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
