Katherine Zweeres

Katherine left this earthly world on January 18, 2023 to be with her beloved son, Christopher, and her Father in Heaven. Originally from Champlain, NY her grandfather owned a local pharmacy where she had many fond memories. She was a faithful follower of the Lord attending church every chance she got. In her older years she would even walk to church at Saint Johns every Saturday she was able to. A brilliant woman; who spoke five languages, was a respected teacher, as well as a United States Customs translator. Her hobbies included being a voracious reader, antiquing, studying cookbook recipes and especially loving her furry felines.

She was kind and loved by everyone she met. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital (stjude.org).
