Keith Alan Grovine, 61, of Chazy, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 6, 2025 at his residence. He was born on August 18th, 1963, the son of Frank Grovine Jr. and Elaine (Hodnick) Grovine of Syracuse, New York.
Keith joined the U.S. Air Force after high school and went to the telecommunication trade school in Illinois. After four years of service, he then became a telecommunication installation repair technician for the local telephone company. His military service didn’t end there, as he served his country in various ways until the day he died. Keith loved his job and worked hard every day to support his family and serve others.
When he wasn’t working, Keith loved cruising with Lynn. One of his favorite cruises was to St. Lucia, where he caught a marlin deep-sea fishing. Otherwise, you could find him winning at the card tables or catching the next Amtrak train to New York City. Keith made his own maple syrup, each spring with the help of Lynn and his grandsons.
In the end, he always appreciated a quiet night at home in his recliner, a favorite show, and his loving wife by his side as they reflected on the day and their daughters’ successes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lynn; children, Alison Grovine, Katherine Rivera and her husband Diamond; his mother, Elaine Grovine; sister, Laurie Grovine; grandchildren, Lucien, August, Theodore and Kameron; several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father Frank Grovine of Syracuse, New York
