Saranac Mr. Kenneth D. Campbell, 67, of Ryan Road in Saranac, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He was born in Plattsburgh on May 8, 1948, the son of the late William and Mildred (Cromie) Campbell. Ken served in the United States Army. He owned and operated Campbell's Florist in Dannemora and Campbell's Greenhouse in Saranac for over 35 years. Ken had a passion for gardening and flowers. He was a member of Cornell Cooperative Extension. He is survived by two children; Jonathan Campbell of Saranac and Kristen Campbell of Portsmouth, NH, a brother David Campbell and his wife Karen of Fort Ann and Cutie. Calling hours will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 from 11:00 to 12:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, in Cadyville, NY. A funeral service will follow at Noon in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Independence Cemetery in Saranac at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornell Cooperative Extension Clinton County.
