Kirk Crouse

Kirk D. Crouse, 56, of Pleasant Ridge Road, Plattsburgh, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on November 15, 1969, the son of Raymond and Margaret (Ackley) Crouse.

Kirk attended Peru Central School. He owned and operated Crouse HVAC in Plattsburgh. Kirk enjoyed hunting, fishing, old cars and racing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially on Sundays.

He is predeceased by by his parents, his in-laws; Jim and Gloria Pratt and his brother David and sister Donna.

Kirk is survived by his wife Nicole, five children; Trevor Crouse, Caleigh Hendrie, Andrew Coskey, Samantha Crouse and Britney Crouse, five grandchildren; Liam Crouse, Lucas Crouse, Laycee Crouse, Vanessa Smith and Benson Smith, his nephews who were like son to him; Leon "Bug" Hendrie and Jason McClatchie, his siblings; Judy, Carol, Bruce, Raymond Susan, Nancy and Glenn, sister-in-law Anastasia Pratt, several nieces and nephews also survive him as well as his pitaroo, Gracie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 8, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Augustine's Church in Peru, NY.
