Laya M Murr

Laya M. Murr, 88, of Plattsburgh, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility with family by her side. She was born in Deir Al Jhazal, Lebanon on January 1, 1932, the daughter of the late Mickhal Murr and Ama Bakhos.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Chapel with Father Andreas Papyiannis from Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church in Burlington, Vermont officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s cemetery.
