Leigh Lamare

Leigh Lamare, 64, Passed away with her loved ones by her side. Leigh grew up in Detroit with her parents and 2 sisters, she was a very active and loving child.

After leaving Henry Ford High School in Detroit she traveled to many places including Germany where she lived for awhile. She moved to Plattsburgh after having her first 2 children, where she had 2 more.

She was a homemaker staying home to raise her 4 children. Her family and friends meant the world to her. Leigh was always joking and loved to make people laugh. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles and watch NCIS.

Leigh is predeceased by both her parents as well as her granddaughter Annalise Rose.

She is survived by her 2 sisters Jill Boyd and Ruth Smith both of Detroit. Her 4 children, Khristina(Lamare) Seror and her partner Thomas Watts, Jennifer (Lamare) Dumas and her husband Chris Dumas, Michelle LaMare and her son Joseph Lamare and his partner Jennifer Lafountain. Also her Grandchildren Gavin, Haileigh, Savayah, Killian, Azarah and Zoey. Her children and grandchildren were her everything. Leigh was an amazing woman and would do anything for anybody and always put other above herself.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday May 18, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
