Linda E. Akey

Linda E. Akey, 75, of Plattsburgh, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the UVHN:CVPH Medical Center. She was born on April 6th, 1950, the daughter of Paul Covey and Jacqueline (LaFountain) Covey.

She is survived by her children, Jodie Cook and her husband Jason, Jamie McDonald and husband Michael, Tonya Turner; stepchildren, Harold Akey Jr. and his wife Kristy, Samuel Akey and his wife; grandchildren Austin, Cooper, Andrew, Matthew, Brooklyn, Samuel and Zachariah; great grandchild Jaxson; mom Jacqueline Stratemeyer ; brother James Covey; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Harold Akey and her father Paul Covey

A Celebration of Life will take place at the American Legion Post 1619 on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 5 PM until 8 PM.
