Lois Gillette

Lois J. Gillette, 87, of O'Neil Road, West Chazy, NY passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2023 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh. She was born in Ogdensburg, NY on April 21, 1935 the daughter of Stanley and Erma (Baxter) Watson.
Lois grew up in Canton, NY. She graduated from Plattsburgh State University.

Lois was a nurse working at many nursing homes in the area.

She enjoyed puzzle books and spending time with her animals.

Lois was predeceased by her parents, her husband George Gillette, Jr, and two brothers; Allen and Paul Watson.

She is survived by her children; George Gillette, III of Morrisonville, NY, Stephen Gillette of Rouses Point, NY and Shannon Faubert and her husband Albert of West Chazy, three grandchildren; Alisha Coryea, Ashley Faubert and Corey Faubert, several nieces and nephews also survive her.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 10, 2023 at 9:00 am at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Dannemora.
