Loren C. Dubay, 68, of Steltzer Avenue, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by his side. He was born in Keene Valley on June 5, 1953, the son of the late James and Florence (Smith) Dubay.
Loren was employed by the Village of Keeseville for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and bowling.
He is survived by his former wife whom he remained close with; Barbara Dubay, children; Shawn Dubay and partner Olivia Lee, Chasity Walters and former husband Bobby Walters, Jamie Dubay and her partner Bobby French, Shane Dubay and fiancee Miranda Oshier, a sister and brother in law; Laureen and Mike Rock, a sister in law; Carol Barcomb, two brothers in law; Louis and Joseph Gonyea, his grandchildren; Seth, Mackenzie, Emilie, and Rylan Dubay, Gracie, Evelyn and Dillen Walters, Matthew Gittens and Awbrie Dubay, Michael and Mason DiOrio, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter Lori Ann Dubay, a special friend Nick Furnia and a brother in law; Steve Barcomb.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Clintonville at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
