Loyal David LaPierre

West Chazy, NY-Loyal David LaPierre passed away peacefully in his home in the care of Hospice on June 8, 2026 with his wife by his side. Loyal was born September 25,1952 was the son of the late Harrison LaPierre and Elizabeth Peltier. He graduated from Chazy Rural High School in 1971. He joined the U.S. Army for a 20 year career as a communications specialist, and spent 12 years as an Army Recruiter in Plattsburgh, NY. After retirement from the U.S Army he worked at Bombardier Transportation as a Technical Support Technician in building trains for NYC and other surrounding states. He retired from Bombardier in June 2015 and enjoyed his retirement with his family. Loyal’s favorite holiday was Halloween and he loved to volunteer in surrounding Haunts. You could find him at Bumpkins, Country Dream Farms and many of the other surrounding scare festivities. He mostly enjoyed the Halloween pranks and scares to his closest family members, including involving the grandchildren.

Loyal leaves behind his wife and life partner of 32 years, Julia, daughter Michelle Konishe and son-in-law Taka, daughter Tara Brayton and son-in-law Jason Kaplan, son David Lapierre and daughter-in-law Mino, son Michael Agoney Jr. and daughter-in-law Angel, son Robert Sines and daughter-in-law Jessica, brothers Robert LaPierre, Arnold LaPierre and sister Linda Couture, and several grandchildren

He is predeceased by his brothers Donald, Richard, Lawrence Morris and Roswell and sisters Majorie Olsen, Gloria Winterbottom, and Sheila LaPierre.
